Andrew says: This following LED Analogue / Binary  concept is inspired by the fossilized shell of a prehistoric creature know as a Ammonite. This concept is a 12-11-4: Incremental LED Display. 12: Hours / Months, 11: Five Minutes / Days groups &4: Single Minutes / Days . Saturn II : Planetary analogue watch

Peter says: This is Saturn II, a re-design of my original Saturn concept. Saturn was one of my first concepts submitted to the blog. It never made it onto the blog presumably due to being a little adventurous from a technical perspective.

This version is a lot simpler than the original but still retains the original’s feel.

Justin says: I was browsing though my previous submissions and saw my Circuit design. I felt the desire to change it up a little and add a little spice to it. Also I wanted to give it a more defined “circuitry” feel.

Trinary watch combines LED, LCD & different time methods for ultra customisation.

Peter says: I seem to have developed a bit of a fondness for the 12/5/9 time telling method, which for me always suggest that the display should be split into three areas/segments (seems intuitive to do so)

I originally had an image in my head that was kind of performance car exhaust esc (think Pagani Zonda) but as I drew it up I realised that it resembled the warning sign for radiation.
