Infinity watch sends time plummeting.

Design submitted by Josh from Australia.

Josh says: I have been always fascinated by “infinity mirrors”, and watches, so I thought “why don’t I combine them?” after a bit of hard work, (and frustration with the modelling software I was using) this is what I came up with. I do apologize for the slightly horrible picture.

Invader LED watch with chevron display

Design submitted by Peter from the UK.

Peter says: This is the third and final instalment….or is it a prequel? of the model used to create “Stealth II” and “3Delix” a long long time ago in a galaxy near the west midlands in good old blighty. It occurred to me that the chevron shaped segmentation on this model was slightly reminiscent of the arches of the Sydney Opera House. So I decided to create this 12-5-9 format watch based on this inspiration.

LiveWire watch sparks into action to show the time

Design submitted by Peter from the UK.

Peter says: I have recently created a couple concepts that featured helix shapes in their time telling in various guises. This is a 12/5/9 format LED watch which uses the helical forms to show the time in three columns that look like exposed cables, hence the name “LiveWire”

Reticle watch targets futuristic time telling.

Design submitted by Peter from the UK.

Peter says: For a long time I have had the idea in the back of my head for a watch design that you could look through rather like a gun scope, this is probably partly inspired by one of Cory’s older designs called “Lock On”

PLUS watch is an electronic tattoo for your wrist.

Design submitted by Sam from Germany.

Sam says: I was scribbling around for a time display, that would be cool as tattoo or graffiti, some sort of iconic symbol that would draw it’s justification from the look first, then by the hidden meaning.

The idea of stacking numbers isn’t new, but there are many ways how to do it. I chose a 12-5-9 time format and gave the numbers of each category different proportions. This is where the name PLUS comes from, because the first and the last digit have the opposite proportions and form a cross.

Tactical watch breach & clears its way onto your wrist

Design submitted by Peter from the UK.

Peter says: Armour and Sci-Fi are two of my favourite themes which keep tempting me back time and time again. And so they have again, this time inspiration has come from Sci-Fi helmets from games and film.
